How to Donate

Any amount you can donate will be welcome, and remember that 100% of your donation goes to feeding Lake Orion students. We are a 100% volunteer-run effort. The national Blessings in a Backpack organization, a 501(c)(3), does their own fundraising through foundations to pay for their operating costs and salaries.

Be sure to designate your donation to Lake Orion: Locate where it says "Designation". Where it says "Enter School/Program below" type “Lake Orion” to ensure that your donation goes to the Lake Orion program. Complete the rest of the information and submit.


A Letter Of Receipt Will Be Sent

All money donated to our program can be used as a tax deduction, thanks to our partnership with the national Blessings in a Backpack organization. You will receive a letter of receipt for your donation within 4-6 weeks that can be used as a receipt for tax purposes.
